Spring Has Sprung!

Happy first day of Spring!

Hopefully the sun will keep shining and the roses will be more beautiful and bountiful than they were last year!

lies the seed
that with the sun’s love
in the spring
becomes the rose

Peace Be With You

Spring Daffodil

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the  infinite  possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones and allow  your soul the freedom to sing dance praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.

Happy Valentines Day!

Must, bid the Morn awake!
Sad Winter now declines,
Each bird doth choose a mate;
This day’s Saint Valentine’s.
For that good bishop’s sake
Get up and let us see
What beauty it shall be
That Fortune us assigns.

Gratitude

Hope everybody is enjoying their Tuesday! I have a few people I’d like to thank for their support this week. Thank you for linking my photos to your blog/etsy. I really appreciate it!!! To those of you who have found me from Ag Air, I am featuring the print they’ve linked to on etsy for purchase. Thank you for your support!

img_49691Thank you to AgAir Updates for linking to my blog! This came as a huge surprise, and an honor that you would showcase my photograph on your website. Due to this, I have decided to feature it in my shop as an 8.5 x 11 print. Thank you!

img_6278Thank you to my good friend, Laura at Hey Missy for featuring this photo on her blog. PS Her blog is phenomenal, it’s one of the BEST I’ve seen!

img_4239Thank you to Antigoni of the fabulous Novely Jewels. She convoed me today to state that she’s showcasing this photo in her treasury.  Thank you so much! The treasury is gorgeous, with enormous talent. Here’s the link =)

Cannon Rose!

How amazing, I created a shop last night, and I have already sold my first print!!! I am so thrilled about this, that I decided to post a new print, Cannon Rose. I absolutely love the uniqueness of this photo. The roses of course are my mom’s, but the vintage metal pitcher was my neighbor, Mrs. Cannon’s. This has been passed down from generation to generation in her family, and she gave it to my mom over the summer. I originally took this photo to show my neighbor how beautiful it is as a vase, but thought you all deserved to see it as well! I love this photo, and hope you do too! I was also pleasantly surprised to be contacted by a fellow etsy seller today, who told me that I should start creating calendars. I’m so new to this but I am up for any challenge! With her help, I’m hoping to have my original banner (up until a few weeks ago) as a print. We shall see. In the meantime, thank you all for your support, and encouragement. This really couldn’t have been done without you.

By the way, if you’d prefer a 4×6 print, just let me know and I can list that for you! Info is in my etsy shop.

***Photo showcased at lowest resolution rather than post a watermark. Photo will print at highest resolution.

Mil Gracias

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for your sweet comments! I hope the test went well. Shockingly I think I did the best on the math portion. If you’d like the percentage, area, or need help with fractions, I think I’m your gal ;) Regular posts will resume this week! Woooohooooo!!! Here’s something I found this week when I was studying, and it really helped me put everything into perspective, and not worry about the outcome. I did the best I could, it’s no longer in my hands. I hoped for the best, and the best outcome will come come out of this!

Beginning Today

Beginning today I will no longer worry about yesterday.
It is in the past and the past will never change.
Only I can change by choosing to do so.

Beginning today I will no longer worry about tomorrow.
Tomorrow will always be there, waiting for me to make the most of it.
But I cannot make the most of tomorrow without first making the most of today.

Beginning today I will look in the mirror and I will see a person worthy of my respect and admiration.
This person looking back at me is someone I enjoy spending time with and someone I would like to get to know better.

Beginning today I will cherish each moment of my life.
I value this gift bestowed upon me in this world and I will unselfishly share this gift with others.
I will use this gift to enhance the lives of others.

Beginning today I will take a moment to step off the beaten path and to revel in the mysteries I encounter.
I will face challenges with courage and determination.
I will overcome what barriers there may be which hinder my quest for growth and self-improvement.

Beginning today I will take life one day at a time, one step at a time.
Discouragement will not be allowed to taint my self-image, my desire to succeed or my capacity to love.

Beginning today I will walk with renewed faith in human kindness.
Regardless of what has gone before, I believe there is hope for a brighter and better future.

Beginning today I will open my mind and my heart.
I will welcome new experiences.
I will meet new people.
I will not expect perfection from myself nor anyone else: perfection does not exist in an imperfect world.
But I will applaud the attempt to overcome human shortcomings.

Beginning today I am responsible for my own happiness and I will do things that make me happy. . .admire the beautiful wonders of nature, listen to my favorite music, pet a kitten or a puppy, soak in a bubble bath. . .pleasure can be found in the most simple of gestures.

Beginning today I will learn something new;
I will try something different;
I will savor all the various flavors life has to offer.
I will change what I can and the rest I will let go.
I will strive to become the best me I can possibly be.

Beginning today. And every day.

Hope you had a great weekend! Hope the week goes well for everyone!!!

Lucky 13!

Hope you’re enjoying your Monday. I’m watching The Hills and thinking I need a life lol!

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Friday!!!

I don’t know if any of you know anything about wordpress, but I am bummed….it won’t let me leave comments on blogs anymore. :( If it continues to act this way, I’m going back to blogger. I like typepad but I refuse to pay to have a blog! Just note, I am being silenced! I want to leave you all comments and tell you how much I love your posts….but I’m being (in the words of Rachel Zoe) shut it down!

A Flower A DAY……..

will try it’s best to keep the stress away. I was busy in the yard today taking pictures. Turns out I was able to get 31 pictures I absolutely love. For the month of October I will post one a day, for a little inspiration. According to studies flowers have the power to clear ones mind, and make their day a little easier.  Since today is the 2nd, I will have to post two today….darn! ;)
